‘We don’t want to compromise the quality of the update’

CD Projekt Red has been fairly good at communication, updating Xbox One fans all along the way when it came to the timeline for the long-awaitedWitcher 3HDR patch that was announced last year. But the same can’t be said about PS4 Pro, as that same functionality was due for the system for some time, and the publisher hasn’t had much to say on the matter.

Yet, after a bit of pushing from the userbase, community lead Marcin Momot was able to give us a full update on Twitter: “PS4 Pro HDR patch is still very much in development. Due to the fact that we’ve discovered some additional bugs along the way, we need more time to finish it. We don’t want to compromise the quality of the update, so we would like to ask you for a bit more patience.”
