Word from reliable industry sources are indicating to Destructoid that EA Chicago (the studio responsible forDef Jam Icons,Fight Night) are closing its doors. Said to be part of the “restructuring” thattore apart Mythiclast month, over 150 employees wait in limbo today as word on whether they will be let go or transfered to another studio are discussed in meetings.

Kotakuis reporting similar news, and their source has told them that the forthcomingDef Jam Iconsequel has been canned, with the future of the previously announced Marvel fighter up in the air.
