It’s “the last chapter”

MoreAssassin’s Creed ValhallaDLC is in the cards beyond what we’ve already gotten, and it’s appropriately called “The Last Chapter;” a free questline that “ties up the game.”

In the brief trailer (which is more of a teaser, starting around 16:45 inthe below showcase), Eivor notes that she’s “done all that she can for her people,” and says that it’s “time to say goodbye, and set sail for distant shores and new adventures.” And apparently she’ll do just that in the DLC! The good news is that this DLC is free, and is being treated as a customary questline add-on. Eivor will “reunite with some key characters, including some influential historical ones.”

Valhalla DLC

If you haven’t been following along, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released in late 2020, and it’s still trucking through the end of 2022. It hosted expansions titled Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris, on top of the aforementioned free updates and quality of life upgrades. Like mostAssassin’s Creedgames once the DLC stops flowing, it’ll make for a pretty packed “GOTY/Complete” experience once everything is factored in. Ideally this “Last Chapter” actually ties up some loose ends and adds to the connective tissue of the series.
