There’s an upcoming custom videogame replica that’s sure to pique the interest ofMetal Gear Solidfans and gun enthusiasts alike. Snake Hound Machine, manufacturer of unique weaponry, is creating the Patriot fromMetal Gear Solid.
The Patriot is an assault rifle that’s appeared inMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater,Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, andMetal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Snake Hound Machine’s run will be limited to only seven, and they’re selling for $998. Serial numbers seem as if they’ll be chosen by the purchasers, as the code “T3HPAIN” has already been taken.
While only the upper portion of the Patriot has been built thus far, there will be one necessary difference between the in-game and real-life versions. InMetal Gear Solid, the Patriot’s a weapon that can be fired infinitely. Snake Hound Machine intends to equip its take on the firearm with a 100-round beta magazine.
Obviously, depending where you live, there may be restrictions on whether or not it’s legal to purchase this. Regardless, it’ll be a rare piece of memorabilia that’ll leave no question as to the owner’s dedication to theMetal Gear Solidseries.
