Finally resolved after nearly five years Perhaps the most major piece of litigation in virtual reality’s relative infancy has been put to rest. ZeniMax (Bethesda’s parent company) has settled its lawsuit with Oculus and Facebook over copyright and trademark infringements. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. This litigation has been ongoing for the better part of five years. ZeniMax originally alleged that Oculus co-founder John Carmack stole VR intellectual property and trade secrets when he left the ZeniMax-owned id Software....
