New NeverDead screens show more decapitation

Konami’s upcoming action game in which you play as an immortal demon hunter on present-day Earth who is unfazed by his own body parts being blown about — yes, I’m talking aboutNeverDead— still looks as thoughits January 31release date will be happening. When word came out of the game’s official release date, we gotsome screenshots, so now Konami is pushing out more images because, well, why not? It all still looks as wacky and out-there as it did when it was first announced wayback at E3 2010, but we’ll have to wait and see if the game itself is fun to play....

It’s nice to hear them say it’s still under development, but it’s better to see some proof. During their Fanfest last week CCP unveiled a tech demo showing off the graphics ofWorld of Darkness. Pianocade: An arcade stick MIDI synthesizer

F*CKING AMAZING.GIMME GIMME GIMME. The geeky place where games and music intersect is where I choose to camp out and live, so you’re able to only imagine how I freaked out when I found the Pianocade. INEEDthis thing. ThePianocadeis a musical synthesizer and MIDI controller designed to look and work like an arcade joystick. Instead of piano keys, you’ll bang out tunes with arcade-style fire buttons and a joystick. you’re able to strap this thing on like a keytar and rock out, and its MIDI and USB connectors means that it can be used to play other devices....

Project 1v1 is a ‘gladiatorial’ shooter from Gearbox Software

Two players enter, one player leaves A few minutes before I played my first match of Gearbox Software’sProject 1v1, I was informed that Randy Pitchford refers to the game as “gladiatorial.” Pitchford’s ability to describe his studio’s games with over-complicated, hyperbolic mouthfuls iswell-documented. But after a few rounds, I have to concede that gladiatorial is the simplest way to summarize what theBorderlandscreator is cooking up. If you’re into more verbose descriptions, I’ve got you covered:Project 1v1— the game’s current, working title — is a free-to-play, one-on-one, competitive first-person shooter meets deck-building game....

PSA: You can change squads in Battlefield 2042

But it’s a pretty limited system right now Large-scale teamwork and nitty-gritty squadplay are two crucial facets of theBattlefieldexperience, and the more innate cooperation you’ve got in a match, the better your odds of flipping the battle in your side’s favor. I figured a little PSA was in order forBattlefield 2042, as there actually is a way to change which squad you’re in despite a lot of players (understandably) believing otherwise....

Storm’s Adventure with The God of War Anthology Part 1

In this episode of Storm’s Adventures, we’re going way back. All the way to 2005, the year the originalGod of Warwas released. This is by no means setting any records. I concludedone episodewith a game that took me back to 1978. But this is the first time I bring the PlayStation 2 into a full blown Adventure and for good reason. When I was rooting forResident Evil 4in the category of GOTY 2005, there was this other contender that I never heard of exclusively for the PlayStation 2....
