The Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t all about the future. It’s also bringing some special love for the GameCube, with a big addition to Nintendo Switch Online. GameCube Classics are coming to the Expansion Pass for NSO, as an exclusive for the Switch 2, including games likeSuper Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Soul Calibur 2, F-Zero GX, Luigi’s Mansion, and a lot more. Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Balletis coming to PlayStation 4 in September, NIS America has announced. The “shoot-’em-up fighter game” from doujinsoft circle Cubetype is currently planned for release via physical and digital formats for $30 across North America on September 6 and Europe on September 9. In addition to the standard edition, NIS is selling a $50limited edition, which includes a hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, post card set, a bundle of downloadable content, and, of course, the game....

PlayStation patches problems for portable PSone Classic Persona 2: Eternal Punishmentwill be available for download on PlayStation Vita and PSP starting March 12. Despite arriving on PlayStation Network two weeks ago, the Atlus RPG suffered some turbulence at launch anddidn’t appear on portable storefronts. Sony has since remedied the issue, allowing folks to download the title via PlayStation 3 and transfer the game over to their portable system of choice. Those looking to download directly needn’t wait much longer though, as a true solution will arrive as a part of this Tuesday’s network update....
AfterPlants vs. Zombies, PopCap had me pretty much signed on for life. Since then, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time paddling around in their backcatalogue, and I’m not ashamed to admit that I find the majority of their casual titles immensely enjoyable. I don’t really like licensed games at all. Not just because they’re nearly always awful, but I have a mental hang-up where I find it difficult to enjoy a videogame when it’s not truly original. With this in mind, I was naturally not expecting very much when evil publisher Activision had me visit San Francisco to playX-Men Origins: Wolverine. However, I must admit that in this case, my expectations were turned around quite quickly....
The much troubled title will also be available on Desura Project Zomboid, the long-in-development zombie survival game, has taken another step towards release as developer Indie Stone has announced the game will be able to be purchased on Steam Early Access from Friday, November 8. This was already clearedthrough Greenlight, so it’s really been a question of when the devs have been happy enough with their build to put it up for sale....
