In recent years, Capcom has made some great progress in terms of becoming invested in PC gaming. The developer’s last couple of major releases have seen solid ports, and in many cases, their exclusive goodies make these the versions you’d want to get above all else. I’m not saying the company is perfect — simultaneous PC and console releases, please? — but it’s certainly a major step up from the days ofResident Evil 4on PC....

Remastered, unreleased tracks, Yoshitaka Amano artwork Final Fantasy IVis easily one of my favorite soundtracks in the series. That’s probably because it contains one of my favorite tracks of all time, “Troian Beauty.” Square Enix apparently agrees and is re-releasing the long out-of-print soundtrack, but with added goodies to sweeten the deal further. As to what’s included with theFinal Fantasy IV Original Sound Track Remaster Version(I’m a little bummed they dropped the “Original Sound Version” subtitle), remastered tracks will feature two loops as opposed to the original’s single-loop versions (this is probably why this album spans two discs as opposed to the original’s one), along with unreleased music from the game and a sleeve containing new artwork by artist Yoshitaka Amano for first-press editions....

Five Nights and seven bears ago… Love it or hate it, theFive Nights at Freddy’sseries is a roaring success, and is surely raking in even more cash after therecently released fourth game. Developer Scott Cawthon has taken to theSteam Community forumsto answer the haters and inspire his fans. Cawthon thanks his fans for all of the support and acknowledges their concerns about him being stressed, noting, “It’s true that I’m stressed a little; but it’s ok because the result was good … All I can do is judge from the Steam review that I’ve been mostly successful....

He felt it may have even hurt the movie The videogame tie-in forStar Trek Into Darknesswas prettypoorly received, and JJ Abrams, the movie’s director, is bummed out about it. Well, not about the critical reception; he’s in agreement there. He’s disappointed in how hard the game actually did suck.
