Review: Retro-Bit NES Power Stick

Multiple ways to play When I first opened the Power Stick by Retro-Bit, nostalgic memories came flooding back. Images from my childhood of playing games in front of the glow of the television screen in the middle of the night cuddled up under a blanket, and tossing my NES Advantage joystick across the room because I thought it was complete and utter rubbish and I completely hated it back then. Why the heck would I want to use a clunky joystick instead of a nice, comfortable controller?...

Scraps: This is gonna kill Hamtaro sales

Local news is really funny. As I was watchingHeroestonight (Hiro’s “key” is WIN), my local NBC affiliate news had a promo for what we could expect to see on tonight’s program. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet because it’s only about 9:30 here, but I’m so tuning in. Apparently, scientists are warning that hamsters may be dangerous pets for children to have. Okay, the Dow Jones Industrial dropped another 350 points today, we’re in the middle of an election and my local news is warning me about the risks of children and hamsters....

Silent Hill: Homecoming doesn’t need a box for PC

Silent Hill: Homecomingwill be hitting the PC platform in America this September, and Europe later this year. The report fromActiontrip(viaJoystiq) states that the only way eager PC gamers will be able to get their hands on the title is through Valve’s Steam service. That’s right, only digitally distributed creepy nurses will be available as Konami has clearly declared that Steam will be “the only method of distribution.” It’s nice to know that the title is actually coming to the PC platform, nonetheless so quickly, but it hurts my eyes whenever I read about digital distribution....

Eat, sleep, game Why do we dream? Amongst the foggy midst of hearsay, medical expertise, and decades of research, the simple answer is, we have no idea.
