I just finished The Mountaintop this week This week, I finally completed theYear Two Moments of TriumphforDestiny. For those of you who don’t play, they’re basically special achievements that you have a limited time to complete — usually, before a new expansion comes out and makes said content too easy. I had been putting off “The Mountaintop” for weeks (an especially grind-worthy PVP challenge), but I had everything else done weeks ago, having played from the release ofTaken Kingthroughout the dreadful April re-hash update....

In terms of word count, this isn’t the biggest change log, as that honor belongs to Patch 3. That doesn’t mean that you should sleep on Patch 8. After all, there are 12 new subclasses for players to explore. This will completely change how characters have worked previously, as all the subclasses have their unique abilities....

Get ‘dem levels in ya! With an upcoming patch for theHeart of the Swarmbeta, Blizzard is going to introduce a newrace leveling mechanicinStarCraft II. Mastering a race will give reward players with new decals and portraits to show off just how good they are. Each ofStarCraft II‘s three races will each have a separate leveling bar; playing in either Blizzard matchmaking or custom games on Blizzard maps will get you XP for either Terran, Protoss, or Zerg depending on which race you’re controlling....

Square Enix has takenFinal Fantasy XIVservers offline in order to implement a hotfix for the Xbox Series X/S version of the game. Details of the hotfix will be released after the downtime, but for now, players will be unable to get into the game. The game will be down for maintenance for a 4-hour emergency hotfix, which suggests that Square Enix is trying to fix a pretty severe issue. The data center and Mog Stations were turned off 30 minutes before the maintenance to ensure everyone got out of the game in time....
